Ed Lawther joined the company in 2005.  For the past 13 years Ed has run CMC's Fabrication Department, and for the past 3 years also Manages our Product Assembly Operation.

Ed has 40+ years' experience in welding and machining, including industrial applications.  He has extensive supervisory skills including management, testing and training.  He is skilled in ACAD, CNC, SMP, PRO-E and robotics programming.  He has 10+ years’ as a CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) including various welding certifications (D1.1, D1.2, D1.3, D1.6, D9.1, EN 15085).

Ed has received formal training and education in Welding Technologies and NDT I. II. III. IV (CCAC Pittsburgh, PA.), Machining Technology Fundamental, Advanced and Abrasive Machining courses and education in NC/CNC Programming of CNC Machining Centers.
